I went to my first session with the hand therapist, and have decided to move into his office. 😉

I truly didn’t know that I could experience this kind of relief. The Motrin finally kicked in this weekend and apparently I’m in just the right place to begin targeted treatments without a major pain flare-up. The wet heat packs, ultra-sound and gel massage were like a cosmic gift. And once the inflammation eases, I can begin exercises to get my grip strength back.

I’m psyched.

Great news! I love the sun, Sunny! Could be a daisy too, one of my favorite flowers.

Congrats on your SOB award, I enjoy reading all of them each week and discovering. I lost the use of my hand one year ago due to a car accident. My right hand. I feel your pain. Traditional medicine said surgery, i said no and opted for non traditional modalities instead. I have my hand back. Thankfully, patiently and methodically. It’s pretty cool how the human body is so healing and forgiving.

Karen — thanks so much for the visit and the encouragement! It means a lot when, as you say, the progress is slow and methodical. Thank goodness, I do feel a little bit better everyday. And I’m glad you’re OK. 🙂
