Turkey-Day Artwork by DNAMichaud.

Circa 1958…As I remember it, the day before Thanksgiving was a morning of art projects and an afternoon of magical release. In school we sang “Over The River And Through The Woods”, colored and pasted (do you recall that lumpy white paste?) and proudly hauled it all home to show to our mothers who were up to their armpits in flour. Then we raced outside to either play or take refuge from the cold/rain in a friend’s house for an afternoon of cards, jacks or board games. Great memories from those years gone by.

Wherever you are today — on the road, baking, cleaning or making art projects with the kids, may you enjoy your blessings and be able to share them with others.

Happy Thanksgiving from our house to yours.

P.S. And Happy Birthday, Roy!
