March 16th in Sedona

Unusual weather we’re having!

This afternoon, I made a presentation at the Women’s Festival in Sedona. My friend, Lita, and I shared a workshop on “Feng Shui in the Bedroom”. Lita’s an interior designer and expert practitioner of the Four Pillars school of feng shui, and we talked about design and the impact of clutter on bedroom energy. It was fun to share disciplines and learn about why it’s important to have the right headboard on your bed.

It snowed all day, and while the fresh snow was magnificent-looking on the red rocks, the poor tourists who had come to bask in the warm Sedona sunshine were driving around very confused.

P.S. Patty DeDomenic, producer of the International Women’s Festivals, invited us to participate in the Santa Barbara Festival next year!

I wished I could have heard that presentation. I think it would be so cool to know just what kind of headboard i need! Currently, I don’t have one and I just can’t seem to make up my mind…

Hi Arlene — Well, if you’re still looking, try to choose a solid one. Apparently, it’s a good idea to have support behind you in the form of a wall and a substantial headboard (as opposed to a slatted or mirrored one).
    Good luck!
